Where should we start the first RPG here at Time Warp RP?

Could there perhaps be a location that is not from the show? Otherwise I think the RP should start with a tourny.

Ok, a Tourney sounds fine. Just a couple things that I have issues with about that. We don't really have that many members, so most of the Tourney is going to be NPC. Another is that we're never on at the same time, which makes the dueling aspect even harder. We'd have to get together on Skype or something to figure out when we can get on at the same time. If you remember, Duel Legend and I are having the same problem in Back to the Duel.

As for the Location. I don't mind having another place that's not from the Anime. I'll come up with a few ideas and make the new forums.

Then the first tourny would have to be rp... I mean a tourny was what they started yugioh with.

Actually, they started Yu-Gi-Oh! with Yuugi being bullied by Katsuya and Hiroto, and wasn't even focused on Duel Monsters.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters began with Yuugi telling his friends about Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Seto stealing it.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX began with Juudai beating de Medici in his test.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds began with Yusei trying to leave the Satellite.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal didn't have a Tournament until the second season.

But it still led to a tournament... The action didn't really start before then. Idk it has been a while since I watched the show, and the pegasis tournament is at the front of my mind

I haven't seen much of GX, but I think it was the only one w/o a Tournament...

Perhaps we can start with a duel between me and one of your characters.

Perhaps. But this isn't going to be much fun if it's only us "3" on this site. Any suggestions on how to recruit more?

I can advertise on the DN general chat (I don't believe there is any rules against advertising).

You can try, but that's the reason a lot of Academies are dying and cannot find more members. Don't get yourself banned for advertising too often.

As for me, I'm probably done with Dueling Network until the next format.

They can't find members because they advertise?

They can't find members b/c you're not supposed to advertise. I've never understood why, though.

I looked through the rules, and I did not see anything against advertising in general chat. So I advertised. No admins said anything to me.

Okay, I figure it's about time we start an RPG. You can start one anywhere and you're not limited to one thread at a time.

That's my problem... I don't really know. Suburbs directly outside a large city would be nice. I was also leaning toward inner city... but nah... Perhaps just city. Creating stuff from scratch is so hard.

Okay, I've made another city and called it Haven. I guess we can start there whenever y'all are ready.

You can start it however you wish. But it may be easier if we get more members...
